The Control Tower, the Grade II listed building we are based in, was opened by Amelia Earhardt and Amy Johnson in 1932. It was 'the most modern Aero Club building in the world'. Now known as The Control Tower (it never was one) it was the base for Bill Boddy, the editor of Motorsport Magazine.
